Project Commissioning

At Belstar, the first step to being successful in Project Commissioning is the process of planning, documenting, training, scheduling, testing and verifying a system operates as a fully functional system per the Owner’s Project Requirements. 

Belstar provides quality assurance on each project that the following standards are met:

  • Pre-commission activities
    • Introduce the project team
    • Review the scope of work and contract deliverables
    • Project Schedule
  • Site Assessment/Commissioning Plan
  • Project Schedule
    • Format for weekly reports identifying new issues, unresolved issues and closed items
  • Project Requirements
    • Process for ensuring compliance with design documentation
    • Checklists formatted specifically to the components being commissioned
  • Project Documents
    • Methods for tracking issues, deficiencies and resolution
    • Tracking Operations and maintenance documentation
    • Identification of all pre-functional, functional, component testing activities and tracking logs
  • Commissioning Plan Developed
    • Belstar will provide commissioning services that ensure that installation tasks meet expectations, that all equipment has been physically installed and tested per the design documents.
  • Close Out
    • We will provide all closeout documents as defined in the contract documents noting any discrepancies. We will participate in an overall lessons learned session defining opportunities for future process improvements.
