Project Commissioning
At Belstar, the first step to being successful in Project Commissioning is the process of planning, documenting, training, scheduling, testing and verifying a system operates as a fully functional system per the Owner’s Project Requirements.
Belstar provides quality assurance on each project that the following standards are met:
- Pre-commission activities
- Introduce the project team
- Review the scope of work and contract deliverables
- Project Schedule
- Site Assessment/Commissioning Plan
- Project Schedule
- Format for weekly reports identifying new issues, unresolved issues and closed items
- Project Requirements
- Process for ensuring compliance with design documentation
- Checklists formatted specifically to the components being commissioned
- Project Documents
- Methods for tracking issues, deficiencies and resolution
- Tracking Operations and maintenance documentation
- Identification of all pre-functional, functional, component testing activities and tracking logs
- Commissioning Plan Developed
- Belstar will provide commissioning services that ensure that installation tasks meet expectations, that all equipment has been physically installed and tested per the design documents.
- Close Out
- We will provide all closeout documents as defined in the contract documents noting any discrepancies. We will participate in an overall lessons learned session defining opportunities for future process improvements.
